There are many ways to make learning fun and sometimes we must use put on our creative hats! Here’s a great way to make reading fun! Create a chart with landmarks. We created a train track with incentives along the way. As the child reaches one of the incentive points he or she gets to celebrate their accomplishments. Each incentive mark leads to a greater one, with the best one saved until the end.
We’ve created these charts for our children throughout the years and they have been very successful. Try creating one for your child today! It’s fun to watch them grow throughout the year and fun for them to visually see their progress as well. Have fun!
