Smoothies are a great way to get the needed nutrients and vitamins in one glass. But who wants to have the same old smoothie day after day? Since I enjoy coffee and bananas, I wanted to experiment and came up with this yummy treat.

Mocha Banana Smoothie

Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 1¼ cups low fat milk, almond milk or soy milk
- ½ cup silken soft tofu
- 1 frozen ripe banana
- 1-2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp instant coffee crystals (espresso works wonders)
- 2 ice cubes (if not using ice cubes)
- Ground cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- Add milk, tofu, banana, and 1 tbsp of honey into blender.
- Add coffee powder and mix well until frothy.
- Add and ice cubes if needed and blend.
- Taste and add more honey and ground cinnamon if desired.
- Serve and enjoy!
